Andreas Solomonides

Mr. Andreas Solomonides is the Company’s General Manager and an Executive Director. He has more than 25 years of experience in the banking and investment industry.

From 2014 until early 2021 Mr. Solomonides worked as an Investment Manager in a Cyprus based investment firm responsible for client investments (portfolio management) and for the business development of a successful alternative investment fund. 

In his role he travelled extensively meeting clients thus obtaining an invaluable experience in international client relationship management. 

Over the years he has also built an excellent network of associates in several international investment houses.

From 2003 until 2013 he held the positions of Senior Private Banker and Manager – Private Banking at the Wealth Management Division of the Cyprus Popular Bank Ltd. From his position he was very successful in building and managing investment portfolios for UHNW & HNW and for many years he managed the largest investment portfolio within the Bank’s Private Banking of over EUR 450m with special focus on fixed income and structured products.

Previously and for 7 years he held the position of Account Manager at the Cyprus Popular Bank’s International Lending Department. In that capacity he managed a significant loan portfolio for international companies based in Cyprus through the provision of credit facilities, mostly for trade & project financing purposes.

Andreas is a graduate of “Cass Business School”, London, where he obtained an MSc in “Shipping, Trade & Finance”. He had previously studied Economics at Manchester University, England where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree (Hons). Since February 2005 Andreas is a holder of the Advanced Certificate of the Cyprus Securities & Exchange Commission (CySec) and licensed to offer investment advice and portfolio management.
